Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Denys Yatsenko (ranked 25689 p4p, 6848 weight class) and Nick Adams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Denys Yatsenko!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Nick Adams!
The judges for this bout are Josh West, Colin Fray and Paul Gruel.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Adams takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
A slow jab from Yatsenko misses its intended target.
Yatsenko swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Adams changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
The fighters circling - Yatsenko throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Adams shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Yatsenko wants to get back to his feet.

Yatsenko pushes Adams off looking to stand but Adams dives back in and keeps control.
Adams has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Adams uses his free foot to push down on Yatsenko's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Yatsenko.

A less than humble Nick Adams misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
