The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sitsongrit scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
A looping hook to the body misses from Ellacuria. Sitsongrit does a little dance to reset his feet.
Sitsongrit looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Sitsongrit throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

Sitsongrit steps into range and cracks Ellacuria with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Ellacuria flops backwards and Sitsongrit dives into his guard looking to finish!

It looks like Arturo Ellacuria has been cut.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Sitsongrit takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

It looks like Petcharon Sitsongrit has been cut.
A lazy left from Ellacuria finds it's target.
Sitsongrit with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Sitsongrit lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Ellacuria swats away the attempt to clinch by Sitsongrit .
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Sitsongrit .
Sitsongrit paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Sitsongrit staying out of range there.
A little jabbing left from Sitsongrit on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

Ellacuria throws a combination that misses
and Sitsongrit counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Sitsongrit misses with a low kick.
A counter left hand to the body from Ellacuria misses its target.
Sitsongrit slips a straight right by Ellacuria.
Sitsongrit displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Ellacuria throws out the jab.
Sitsongrit connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Ellacuria moves out of range of the strikes.

Ellacuria rushes Sitsongrit and presses him up against the cage.
Sitsongrit tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Ellacuria's elbow.
Sitsongrit lands with a left to the head.

Our sources have told us that Ellacuria has been working on his knees in the buildup to the fight.

Ellacuria pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Petcharon Sitsongrit seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ellacuria takes one to the side of the head.

Sitsongrit waves his right hand out in front of him, looking to distract Ellacuria. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Ellacuria to the canvas! Can he finish him!?

And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Sitsongrit lands a slapping body shot.
Sitsongrit has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Sitsongrit connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Ellacuria's hands.
Sitsongrit fires a straight punch through the middle that cracks Ellacuria square on the jaw! Damn, Ellacuria is out cold on his feet and topples face first to the canvas! Wow, I haven't seen a knockout that brutal in a long time!
