Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Barron White!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 48 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kimbo Slice!
The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Emerson Jorge and Daniel Cesar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slice waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract White.
White throws a series of strikes that have Slice backpedaling.

It looks like Kimbo Slice has been cut.
Slice throws a leg kick but White sees it coming and checks it nicely.
White takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Slice lands with a cross.
Slice blocks a jab.
Slice is clearly trying to counter these attacks from White with a body shot.
Slice takes one on the button.
White has been working on his boxing with his coaches at potato place in the buildup to the fight.
White takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
White throws an off balance right hand
and Slice counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Slice misses with a body shot.
Slice bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
White throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Slice sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Slice throws a leg kick
and White makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
A left lands for White.

White swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Slice appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.
White works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Slice thows a left - swing and a miss!
Slice feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Whites jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Slice misses with a straight right.
Slice cracks White with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Slice scores with a decent looking hook.
Slice slips a jab from White.
Slice jabs White right on the nose. White blinks but takes it well.
Slice misses with a body punch
and White counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Slice is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by White.
White gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Slice throws a right hand that misses
and White counters with a series of strikes. Slice will be more careful next time no doubt.
Slice's coach down at MONEY TEAM!!! was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Slice's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
A swing and a miss from White.
Slice jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
White ducks right into an uppercut from Slice.
White's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Slice connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! White scrambles back to his feet.
White moves out of range of the strikes.
A little feinted left hand from White on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Slice lands a leg kick that knocks White off balance momentarily.
Slice changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Slice lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Slice jabs White to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Slice has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Slice throws a hook but White blocks it.
White fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

White moves out of range of the leg kick from Slice.
Slice throws a solid leg kick but White takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Slice.
White misses the jab.
Slice misses with a body shot
and White counters with a lovely straight right hand!
White looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
White scores with a nice strike.

and Slice counters with a nice uppercut.
Slice misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from White.
Slice ducks down and throws a hook to the body but White moves away.
Slice is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! White had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

It looked like White was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Slice.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

White just misses with a punch to the body.
White uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Slice.
White checks the leg kick nicely there.
Slice takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Slice's corner calls for a 1-2. Slice obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
White swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Slice in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.

Slice takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
The fighters circle momentarily. Slice darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

White waves his right hand out in front of him, looking to distract Slice. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Slice to the canvas! Can he finish him!?

Slice pushes White off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
White works Slice's body with a nice hook.
White throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
White swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Slice doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.

Oh, that's a big right hand from White and Slice goes tumbling to the canvas! White follows him to the ground and looks to finish from half guard.

Slice kicks White off and gets back to his feet.
Slice misses with a hook. White ducked under it nicely.

White throws out a loose jab but Slice uses good head movement to avoid it.
Nice shot lands for Slice.

Kimbo Slice seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Slice lands a front kick.
White takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Slice on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Slice clobbers White with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Slice throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Slice looks to land a left hand but White moved out of range nicely.
White walks into a straight right hand from Slice.

White drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Slice does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
White misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Slice jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.

A jab-cross combination lands for White and sends Slice crashing to the mat! White follows him down to the mat - Slice regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!

White has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Slice finds it's way round the side to connect with White's head.

Slice has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye.

White drops his hands momentarily and Slice takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
White on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Slice. Slice obviously looking to wear him down.

This has been an exciting period of action!

and White counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

White throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Slice.

I would just about give that final round to Kimbo Slice.
Well Slice has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
