Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Stewie Brooks (ranked 4373 p4p, 1331 weight class) and John Archibald Wheeler (ranked 508 p4p, 179 weight class). John Archibald Wheeler will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brooks misses the body punch
and Wheeler connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

It looks like Stewie Brooks has been cut.
Wheeler clobbers Brooks with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Brooks tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Brooks closes the distance but Wheeler moves to the side
enabling Wheeler to counter with a crisp jab.

Brooks is rocked!
Brooks ducks under a wild hook from Wheeler.
Brooks ducks right into an uppercut from Wheeler.
Oh Brooks is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Wheeler scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Brooks doesn't seem bothered though.
Wheeler misses with a hook.
Brooks tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Wheeler manages to circle out of the way.

Wheeler tries to keep at a distance but Brooks has taken the fight into the clinch.
Brooks seems to have got his legs back now.
Nice body punch from Wheeler - that landed with a thud.
Brooks tries a knee to the head but Wheeler blocks it.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Wheeler goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Wheeler tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Brooks's elbow.
Brooks stalling in the clinch.

Brooks misses with a knee strike.

Wheeler escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Brooks slips a jab and a cross from Wheeler.
Wheeler scores with a three punch combo!
Wheeler lands an overhand right.
Wheeler drops Brooks with a straight right hand, right on the button! Wheeler follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
