Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jhonny Lait (ranked 6706 p4p, 5678 weight class) and Lorato Nyambe (ranked 616 p4p, 566 weight class). This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jhonny Lait!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Lorato Nyambe!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Trevor Gratis and William Peck.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lait darts in looking for a takedown but Nyambe gets double underhooks and turns Lait into the cage.
Lait jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Nyambe walks away with a smile on his face. Lait gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Nyambe closes this distance looking for a takedown but Lait circles away.
Nyambe lands with a nice combination. Lait backs away looking to recover.
Nyambe looks winded!
Lait throws a lazy head kick

and Nyambe counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Nyambe.
Nyambe changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Lait fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Nyambe tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Lait defends well and Nyambe ends up having to push Lait into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Lait tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Nyambe's elbow.

Lait keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Nyambe's head.

Nyambe throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Lait escapes and throws Nyambe's legs to the side, diving into side control!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Lait shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Nyambe napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Lait is nestled in close to Nyambe, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Lait lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Nyambe tries to get to full guard but Lait has control of the leg.
Lait tries to stand but can't do so whilst Nyambe controls his leg.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
Lait tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Nyambe paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Lait is looking to clinch but Nyambe is avoiding it.
Lait fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Nyambe has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Lait feints and as Nyambe raises his hands in defense, Lait changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Lait wants to stand but Nyambe has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Lait working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Nyambe's head.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Lait landing some decent shots from guard.
Lait cracks Nyambe with a solid left hand.
Lait is looking to stand up but Nyambe won't let him.

Nyambe is working an open guard so Lait takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Lait moves in looking to clinch but Nyambe pushes him off.
Horrible takedown attempt by Lait or perhaps it was just good defense by Nyambe, which made it look bad.

Nyambe shoots for a takedown but Lait saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Lait is taking a breather. Nyambe says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Lait looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Lait tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Nyambe.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Lait.

Lait closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Lait can't get the takedown.

Lait tries to break free but Nyambe pushes him back against the cage.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Lait is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Nyambe gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
