Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brian Burns (ranked 1618 p4p, 2382 weight class) and Alois Vrana (ranked 215 p4p, 307 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Brian Burns!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Alois Vrana!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vrana moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Vrana throws a wild body kick that Burns sees coming a mile off.
Both fighters circling a little - Vrana finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Burns stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Vrana.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Vrana - that will leave a mark!
Burns is breathing heavily.
Vrana scores with a spinning back kick!
A slapping body kick lands there for Vrana.
Burns takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

Vrana lands a big head kick that sends Burns tumbling to the mat! Vrana takes a step backwards and waves Burns back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Burns is rocked!

It looks like Brian Burns has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Burns chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Vrana can pounce on him.
Vrana lands a front kick.
Vrana lands with a thumping leg kick.
Vrana looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Vrana defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Burns.
Vrana is trying to counter with his kicks.
Burns takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
An inside leg kick lands from Vrana.
Vrana ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Burns moves away.
Both fighters circling slowly here as the pace drops. Hopefully one of them does someth.. OOOHHHH!!!! Vrana throws an absolute beast of a head kick! Burns is done! He's out cold, twisted and contorted up against the cage! Wow!
