Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Yuri Voronov (ranked 1552 p4p, 2178 weight class) and Romulus Gerber (ranked 206 p4p, 277 weight class). Romulus Gerber told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gerber throws out a powerful jab.
Voronov wants to slow Gerber down by chopping away at his legs.
Gerber swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Gerber looks to score with a jab to the body but Voronov is just out of range.
Gerber goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Voronov thuds a left hand into Gerber's body.

Voronov scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Voronov scores with a hook to the body. Gerber takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Gerber lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Voronov has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Voronov and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Gerber's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Voronov connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Gerber scrambles back to his feet.

Gerber shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Gerber tries to move into range but Voronov moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Voronov is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Gerber.

Voronov feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Gerber sprawling to the canvas! Gerber rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Voronov finish him?!

Gerber is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Are you kidding me?! Voronov ducked down and unloaded an uppercut from hell that sent Gerber clean off his feet! Someone make me a GIF - that's knockout of the night for sure!

Yuri Voronov spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
