The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mcgreggor closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Garica did well to prevent Mcgreggor getting side control.
Garica wants to get back to his feet.
Mcgreggor takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Garica could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Mcgreggor wants to free his trapped foot but Garica is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Garica wants to stand but Mcgreggor is controlling the position.
Garica is looking to sweep but instead, Mcgreggor has passed into half guard.

Mcgreggor postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Garica to stand up.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Garica.
Mcgreggor changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
