The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drusus shoots in for a takedown but Carter shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Drusus shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Drusus keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Drusus fails with an attempt to clinch.
Carter stalks Drusus and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Drusus's face. Drusus staggers backwards, shaken.
Drusus misses with a takedown attempt - Carter sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Caligula Drusus. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Drusus shoots in looking for a takedown but Carter manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Drusus's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Carter replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Drusus blocks it well.
Drusus doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Carter drops Drusus with a beautiful combination! Drusus stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Carter is looking for the KO!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Drusus leaves his chin hanging out and Carter seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Drusus crumbles to the floor in a heap! The referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
