Savon has chosen Félix Savón - Knockouts as his entrance music. Jimmy Vegas had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jimmy Vegas!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Felix Savon!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Santiago Holmes and Michael Johnstone.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vegas blocks a jab.
Vegas misses with a shot to the body
letting Savon counter with a right hand.
It looks like Jimmy Vegas has been cut.
Vegas takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Vegas takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Savon lands a jab.
Vegas misses with a wild body shot.
Savon throws a series of strikes that have Vegas backpedaling.
Savon connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Vegas's hands.
A swing and a miss from Savon.
Vegas ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Savon moves away.
Savon avoids the body shot from Vegas.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Vegas takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Vegas thows a left - swing and a miss!
Vegas misses with a jab to the body
enabling Savon to counter with a crisp jab.
Vegas moves into range and clinches up with Savon.
Savon throws an elbow but it's blocked.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Savon just misses with a elbow thrown towards Vegas's brow.
Vegas tries to work over Savon's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Savon digs a right hand into Vegas's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Vegas's gas tank.
Savon has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Savon breaks the clinch.
Savon looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Vegas is looking to wear down Savon with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Savon swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Vegas throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Vegas doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Vegas pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Savon tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Vegas was well out of range. Poor timing from Savon.
Savon lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Savon fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Vegas throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Vegas throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Vegas throws a sloppy head kick and Savon moves out of range easily.
A head kick misses from Savon.
Vegas closes the distance and clinches.
Savon lands with a left to the head.
Vegas tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Savon lands with a light punch inside.
Savon throws an elbow but it misses.
Savon breaks the clinch.
Savon stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Vegas looks to clinch
and Savon counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Vegas!
Vegas wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!

Vegas is looking to regain half guard here but Savon keeps moving and retains side control.
Vegas wants to get back to his feet.
Vegas tries to buck Savon off but Savon is having none of it.

Savon is staying tight to Vegas's torso, preventing him from escaping.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Savon prevents Vegas from standing back up.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Savon's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Vegas has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Savon should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Vegas has tightened it up now! Savon should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
