PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Frank French (ranked 2073 p4p, 2790 weight class) and Steven Seagull (ranked 124 p4p, 162 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Frank French!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Steven Seagull!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Peter Branson and Sandra Marshall.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
French feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Seagulls jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Seagull tries to clinch up.
French throws a shot to the body.
French dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
French smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
French lands a body shot.
French misses with a wild body shot.
French avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Seagull on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
French lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Seagull looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Jab, jab by French - just one landing.

Seagull is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Seagull closes the distance but French moves to the side
and French scores with a counter punch that sends Seagull to the canvas! French smells blood - he's punishing Seagull with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Seagull has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Frank French!
After winning the bout, Frank French thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
