Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Gervonta Davis!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Percy O'Donnell and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davis misses with an uppercut. Lights saw that one coming.
Lights seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Davis throws a lazy right hand but Lights sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Lights moves into the clinch.
Lights has Davis pressed against the cage.
Davis breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Lights moves forwards but Davis connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Lights shoots in but no luck this time.
Gervonta Davis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Davis digs a good body shot into Lights's ribs.
Davis avoids the head kick by Lights.
Davis avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Lights wants to clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Davis throws a series of punches but Lights avoids them all with ease.

Davis connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Lights's hands.
Lights looks up at the clock. Bad move! Davis lands a right hand from hell, dropping Lights. Davis pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
