Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Clubber Lang (ranked 4271 p4p, 3660 weight class) and Crown Halo (ranked 0 p4p, 490 weight class). Halo comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Me Too By Meghan Trainor kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lang throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Lang throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Halo sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Lang keeps Halo at a distance using the push kick.
Halo thows a left - swing and a miss!
Halo scores with a jab.
Halo thuds his right hand into Lang's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Halo fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
A little feinted left hand from Lang on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Halo throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Halo's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Lang connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Halo scrambles back to his feet.

Halo tries to clinch but Lang moves out of range.
Lang throws a jab but it's blocked by Halo.

Halo throws an overhand right that lands on Lang's shoulder, as Lang tries to avoid the shot.
Halo looks to land a left hand but Lang moved out of range nicely.

Lang swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.

Halo takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Lang darts in and clinches Halo up against the cage.

Crown Halo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lang has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Halo finds it's way round the side to connect with Lang's head.
Halo slips under a jab.
Lang lands with a hook. Halo tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Lang ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Lang fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Halo has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Lang feinted there with a counter leg kick.
Halo jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Lang lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Lang's jab looks to have found its range, popping Halo under the eye.
Lang fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Halo has managed to clinch.
Halo's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Lang tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Halo's elbow.
Lang has a couple of punches blocked by Halo.
Lang can't find room to land a body shot as Halo controls the action.
Lang is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Halo is keeping busy.

I was talking to Lang's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Halo chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Lang can pounce on him.
Halo might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Lang jabs Halo to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Lang punishes Halo's body with a nice straight punch.
Lang is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.

Lang wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Lang lands a left and a right that send Halo crashing to the mat, dazed. Lang thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Halo is rocked!

Lang instigates a clinch.
Halo is still on wobbly legs! Can Lang finish him?
Lang pushes Halo against the cage. Lang is working some dirty boxing. Lang pushes off with a quick right hook! Halo goes down! Halo tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Lang moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!
