Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eddie Miller (ranked 18403 p4p, 2629 weight class) and Beau Canada (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Miller comes to the cage accompanied by Not Falling. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 18 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Eddie Miller!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Beau Canada!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Yuuki Gou and Yasuomi Hirokawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Miller gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Canada works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Canada misses with the head strike.
Canada struggles to land a body shot inside as Miller controls his hands.
I was talking to Miller's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Canada throws a head punch that misses.
Canada lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Miller backwards.
Canada lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Miller or not.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Miller.
The referee is keeping an eye on Canada - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Canada has hold of one of Miller's legs. Miller is fighting the takedown attempt but Canada gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Canada throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Canada throws a strike but Miller rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Canada is controlling Miller's posture.
Miller has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Canada is proving hard to escape from.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Canada is on top in guard.

Canada trying to control but Miller is working from the bottom.

Canada in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Canada working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Miller's head.

It looks like Eddie Miller has been cut.
Miller is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Canada is controlling him.
Canada throws a big elbow that misses.
Canada lands a couple of elbows.
Canada working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Canada wants to control from the top but Miller keeps moving.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Canada throwing strikes from guard but Miller blocks nicely.

Miller being controlled here, momentarily.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Canada trying to control the position from guard on top but Miller is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Miller wants to clinch.

Miller gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Canada leaning his opponent against the cage.
Canada misses with a punch to the body.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Canada misses with some punches.
Canada tries a body shot but Miller blocks it.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Canada.

Eddie Miller's cut is getting worse.
Canada misses with some punches.
Miller goes for a takedown attempt but Canada pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Canada throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Canada lands a jab.
Miller wants to clinch up but Canada keeps it at a distance.
Eddie Miller seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Canada throws out a powerful jab.
Miller is looking to clinch but Canada is avoiding it.
Miller wants to clinch up but Canada keeps it at a distance.
Miller tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Canada paws at him with a jab and circles away.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Miller is looking to clinch.
Canada circles away from the clinch attempt.

Miller closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Canada softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Beau Canada dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Eddie Miller's cut.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Miller fails with an attempt to clinch.
As Miller backs off Canada throws a huge counter combo but Miller manages to avoid it all.
Canada scores with a nice right hand.
A chopping leg kick lands by Canada.
Miller moves in looking to clinch but Canada pushes him off.
Canada throws a head kick that misses.
Miller has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Canada.
Canada tries a head kick but it misses.
Canada circles away from the clinch attempt
and Canada cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Eddie Miller's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Miller tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Canada paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Canada feints the counter takedown.
Canada fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Miller on the side of the head.

Miller takes the fight into the clinch.
Canada displaying some good clinch control by pressing Miller up against the cage.
Canada tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Canada lands with a left to the head.

Jeez, Eddie Miller's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
Canada fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Canada lands a right hand that snaps the head of Miller backwards.
Miller takes a shot to the head.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Eddie Miller's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:27 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Beau Canada!
During a confident post fight interview, Beau Canada thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
