Clancy Mills seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Mills tried to score with a low kick but Pérez checks it.

Pérez needs to keep his hands up - Mills had a free shot at his head there.

and Mills counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Pérez lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Pérez throws a looping overhand right but Mills ducks down to avoid it.

Mills tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Pérez paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Mills bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Pérez's head backwards.
Pérez lands with an uppercut that bounces Mills off the cage and back into range.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Pérez is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.

Mills stuns Pérez with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Pérez fakes the body blow, causing Mills to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Mills goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
