Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mason Jones!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, John Fuller!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fuller on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

It looks like John Fuller has been cut.
Fuller cracks Jones with an open hand slap.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Fuller has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Fuller throws a left and a right that both miss

and Jones counters with a crisp one two that drops Fuller! Jones thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Fuller to his feet! Fuller is in big trouble!

Fuller drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Jones is trying to control Fuller's posture but Fuller avoids it.

Fuller tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
I wouldn't like to be where Jones is right now.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Fuller wants to control for a moment but Jones uses the opportunity to move back to half guard.

Fuller stands over his opponent and dives in with a flying punch! Jones throws up his legs and catches Fuller in a triangle! Oh this looks tight! Fuller tries to escape but he's forced to tap! Wow, fantastic work there by Jones! That came out of nowhere!
