Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Olu Banjo (ranked 1885 p4p, 5572 weight class) and Keklu Kavala (ranked 247 p4p, 600 weight class). Keklu Kavala has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Olu Banjo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Keklu Kavala!
The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Michael Johnstone and David Hoff.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Banjo lands a head kick. Kavala smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Banjo lands with a kick to the temple. Kavala shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Kavala throws a poor cross that misses
and Banjo counters with a good, hard body kick but Kavala shrugs it off.
Kavala just misses with a punch to the body.
No joy there for Kavala, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Kavala loads up on a big right hand but Banjo slips the punch.
Banjo throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Banjo lands a nice looking body kick.
Banjo throws a head kick but Kavala moves out of range.
Kavala sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Banjo really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Kavala can do anything to dispel that myth.

Look low, kick high! Banjo uses the oldest trick in the book to send Kavala tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Banjo is absolutely delighted - when Kavala wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!
