Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Khamzat Vagabov (ranked 5241 p4p, 3368 weight class) and Alberto Carrieri (ranked 572 p4p, 432 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vagabov fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Vagabov misses with an uppercut.
Carrieri unleashes a big counter combination but Vagabov bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Carrieri fails to land with a series of punches.
Carrieri looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Carrieri's coach down at Hells Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Carrieri's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Carrieri throws out a loose jab but Vagabov uses good head movement to avoid it.
Carrieri tries to bum rush Vagabov with a series of wild strikes but Vagabov uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Carrieri ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Vagabov moves away.

It looks like Alberto Carrieri has been cut.
Carrieri swinging wildly here.
A punch lands to the side of Carrieri 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Carrieri misses with a body shot.
Carrieri throws a body shot but no joy.
Carrieri throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Vagabov.
Carrieri throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Vagabov cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Vagabov drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Carrieri right on the button. Carrieri goes down! Vagabov follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Vagabov gets the win via TKO!
