The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slasher slips under a jab.
Slasher cracks a nice hook into Benjamin's ribs.
Slasher is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Benjamin.
The fighters circling - Slasher throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Benjamin was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Slasher misses with a looping left.
Benjamin swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Benjamin slips under a jab from Slasher.

Benjamin moves out of range of the strikes.
A quick step to the side and Benjamin tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Benjamin misses with a hook. Slasher ducked under it nicely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Benjamin throws out a powerful jab.
Slasher misses with an uppercut. Benjamin saw that one coming.
Slasher throws the left hand but Benjamin avoids the punch easily.

Slasher just misses with a punch to the body.
Slasher fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Benjamin manages to avoid it.

and Benjamin counters with a nice right hand that sends Slasher toppling to the canvas! Slasher scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Benjamin finish him?!

Slasher is rocked!
Benjamin takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Slasher is still on wobbly legs! Can Benjamin finish him?
A big left from Benjamin misses.
Slasher seems to have recovered his senses.
Slasher has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Slasher takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Tykas Slasher seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Slasher throws a poor cross that misses

and Benjamin counters with a crisp right hand that drops Slasher! Benjamin lets Slasher back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Benjamin cracks Slasher with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Slasher tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Benjamin pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Slasher is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
