Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ramsey Woodthorpe!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Cecil Peabody and Daniel Franklin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Woodthorpe changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Roberts tries to avoid it but Woodthorpe manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Roberts to the ground. Roberts escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Roberts tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Woodthorpe paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Roberts moves into the clinch successfully.

Roberts's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Roberts misses with a wild combination.
Roberts has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Woodthorpe finds it's way round the side to connect with Roberts's head.

Woodthorpe has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Roberts is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Roberts has picked Woodthorpe up - he's going for a ride! Roberts dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Woodthorpe wants to improve his position but Roberts is controlling well.
Roberts is taking a breather. Woodthorpe says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Roberts dips a shoulder and cracks Woodthorpe with a mighty uppercut! Woodthorpe falls back against the cage and Roberts unloads with a barrage of strikes! Woodthorpe is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Roberts screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
