Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ankle Breaker (ranked 2281 p4p, 3905 weight class) and James Clerk Maxwell (ranked 132 p4p, 221 weight class). James Clerk Maxwell will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Breaker shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

Breaker is looking for a kimura but Clerk Maxwell is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Breaker to get the leverage.
Breaker throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Breaker is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Clerk Maxwell tries to lock up and control but Breaker gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Breaker jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Clerk Maxwell is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Clerk Maxwell and Breaker has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Breaker thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Breaker wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Clerk Maxwell, who protects the arm well.
Clerk Maxwell stops Breaker from passing to mount.
Breaker postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Clerk Maxwell takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

Breaker wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Clerk Maxwell, who protects the arm well.

Breaker is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Clerk Maxwell knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Breaker has control of an arm but Clerk Maxwell manages to advance to Breaker's back!

Clerk Maxwell is trying to stick to Breaker's back but Breaker is turning into Clerk Maxwell. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Clerk Maxwell's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Breaker.

Breaker ducks into an uppercut from Clerk Maxwell and that's knocked him out cold! This one is all over!
