Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Winston Todd (ranked 3 p4p, 25 weight class) and Giuseppe Hopkins (ranked 1 p4p, 3 weight class). Todd's entrance music is Piano Man. A fine choice. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Todd blocks a jab.
Todd rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Hopkins moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Todd lets loose with a powerful body kick. Hopkins will feel that in the morning.
Hopkins throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Todd lands with a right hand.
Todd ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Hopkins unleashes a big counter combination but Todd bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Todd throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

As Todd backs off Hopkins throws a huge counter combo but Todd manages to avoid it all.

Hopkins uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Todd.

And Hopkins responds with a good body kick, but Todd manages to step out the way in time.

Todd ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Hopkins moves away.

Todd lands a big head kick that sends Hopkins tumbling to the mat! Todd takes a step backwards and waves Hopkins back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Todd is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Hopkins can do to turn this around?

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Todd takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with each other but Hopkins might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Todd has got the better of the exchanges.
