Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Aonghus Mormaer (ranked 1144 p4p, 827 weight class) and Jeff Mma (ranked 177 p4p, 117 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Jeff Mma enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Aonghus Mormaer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 36 - 21 - 2, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jeff Mma!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mormaer dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Mma connects with an inside leg kick.
Mma misses with a few strikes there.
A chopping leg kick lands by Mormaer.
Mormaer misses with a hook
and Mma counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Mormaer checks a leg kick nicely.
Mormaer tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Mormaer throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Mma lands with a straight right. Mormaer didn't see that one coming.

Mormaer takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

As Mma looks to move away, Mormaer throws a big counter combo but Mma just gets out of the way.

and Mma counters with a slapping leg kick.
Mma walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Mormaer checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

letting Mma counter with a right hand.

Mormaer misses with a kick to the body
and Mma makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Mormaer lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
A punch lands to the side of Mormaer 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Mma wants to slow Mormaer down by chopping away at his legs.
Mma throws an overhand right that lands on Mormaer's shoulder, as Mormaer tries to avoid the shot.
Mma misses with a wild body shot.
Mma takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Mormaer has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Duranto Gym in the buildup to the fight.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Mma lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Mormaer has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Mormaer and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Mormaer seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Mma ducks under a wild hook from Mormaer.
Mma lands with a nice body kick.
Mormaer comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Mma misses with an uppercut. Mormaer saw that one coming.
Mormaer misses with a straight left.
Mormaer closes the distance and clinches.

Mma tries to circle away but Mormaer has him pinned against the cage.

Mma blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

Mormaer using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Mma has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Mma manages to break the clinch.
Mormaer lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
The fight stays on the outside here - Mormaer looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Mormaer lands a head kick. Mma smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Mormaer clinches.

Mormaer tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Mma smiles and moves away.
A chopping leg kick lands by Mma.
Mma lands with a good body shot.
Mma jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Mormaer pushes Mma up against the cage in a clinch.
Mormaer has Mma pressed against the cage, preventing Mma from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Mormaer lands a knee to the body.
Mormaer lands a right hand.
Mma tries to break free but Mormaer pushes him back against the cage.
The referee is keeping an eye on Mma - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Mormaer prevents Mma from breaking the clinch.
Mormaer tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Mma escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Mormaer throws a solid leg kick but Mma takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Mormaer.
Mma throws a half hearted mid kick.
Mormaer looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Mma pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Mormaer darts in and clinches Mma up against the cage.
Mma is looking to break free of the clinch but Mormaer has double underhooks.
Mormaer gets through Mma's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Mormaer with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Mormaer scores with a nice hook to the head.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Mormaer takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Mma wants to break free but Mormaer has control.
Mma's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Aonghus Mormaer will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Mormaer ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Mma has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.
Mma steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Mormaer.
Mormaer connects with a high kick.

and Mormaer connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Mormaer jabbing away but nothing is landing.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Mma! But no joy.
Some bone on bone action there as Mormaer checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Mormaer misses with a wild combination.
Mormaer bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Mma misses with an uppercut
and Mormaer connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Mma motions for Mormaer to come forward. Mma throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Mma thows a body kick. Mormaer tries to catch it but that hurt him.

letting Mormaer counter with a right hand.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Mormaer moves in looking to clinch but Mma pushes him off.

Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Mormaer! Mma is out on his feet! Mormaer rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Mma is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Mma is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:07 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Aonghus Mormaer!
After winning the bout, Aonghus Mormaer thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
