The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dominator throws an ugly left hook that misses
enabling Vieira to counter with a crisp jab.

Dominator ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

and Vieira counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Dominator fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Vieira on the side of the head.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Vieira creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Dominator manages to break the clinch.
Vieira scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Dominator doesn't seem bothered though.
Vieira ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Dominator moves away.

Vieira displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Dominator throws out the jab.
It looked like Vieira wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Vieira dips to his left and cracks Dominator with an uppercut!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Vieira comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

and Vieira scores with a counter punch that sends Dominator to the canvas! Vieira smells blood - he's punishing Dominator with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Dominator has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
