Kamogawa has chosen The Veer Union - Bitter End as his entrance music. Magnus Goddard has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Goddard is trying hard to land a takedown here. Kamogawa sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

and Goddard decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Kamogawa's guard.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Kamogawa holds on and takes a little breather.

Kamogawa is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.

Goddard has control of Kamogawa's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Kamogawa regains control of the situation pretty easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Goddard is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Kamogawa has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Kamogawa!

Goddard is looking for a triangle but Kamogawa pushes his legs off easily.
