With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Davante Dunbar!
The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Jorge Garcia and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Covington closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Covington trying to pass the guard but Dunbar defending well.
Dunbar wants to control but Covington is keeping busy.
Covington is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard.
Dunbar is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
We've been hearing good reports from Covington's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Covington passes Dunbar's left leg - he's now in half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dunbar has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Covington. Oh but Dunbar has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Covington goes limp - he's gone! Dunbar jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
