Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Samson Komua (ranked 1004 p4p, 1687 weight class) and Orla Wanker (ranked 159 p4p, 260 weight class). Komua comes into the arena with Fangai Lupe blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

With a record of 20 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Orla Wanker!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Saam Ante and Paul Aken.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Komua loads up on a big right hand but Wanker slips the punch.

Wanker feints and as Komua raises his hands in defense, Wanker changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Komua manages to escape and get back to his feet.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Wanker has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Komua is not content to let Wanker control the position.

Wanker is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Komua reverses the position - he's now on top in Wanker's guard.

Komua throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Wanker stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
