Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bob Crawley (ranked 2501 p4p, 2930 weight class) and Lee Ryker (ranked 324 p4p, 386 weight class). Crawley comes to the cage accompanied by Barbarian Overlords - The Ambassador. Bob Crawley has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Lee Ryker!
The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Sandra Marshall and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crawley throws a body shot but no joy.

Ryker rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Crawley moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

enabling Crawley to counter with a crisp jab.
A punch lands to the side of Crawley 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Ryker's coach down at All Elite Training was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Ryker's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Crawley misses with an uppercut. Ryker saw that one coming.
Crawley uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Ryker.
Ryker throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Crawley stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

The fight stays on the outside here - Ryker looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Ryker throws a series of punches but Crawley avoids them all with ease.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Crawley cracks Ryker with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

It looks like Lee Ryker has been cut.
Lee Ryker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ryker tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Ryker steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Crawley.

Ryker closes the distance and clinches up with Crawley, looking for a takedown. Ryker pushes Crawley against the cage but Crawley circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Despite the aggression on Ryker's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.

Crawley definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Crawley is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.

and Crawley cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Ryker walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Ryker pivots, looking for a leg kick but Crawley is out of range and Ryker settles back down.

and Crawley counters with a straight right hand.

Ryker forces Crawley back against the cage and clinches.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Crawley works on Ryker's body with a couple of short punches.
Crawley lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

Crawley breaks the clinch.
Ryker misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Bob Crawley dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Lee Ryker's cut.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
