Coming up we have a featherweight kickboxing rules bout between Hoshifumi Nagasa (ranked 3728 p4p, 4113 weight class) and Guy Leblond (ranked 352 p4p, 376 weight class). Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hoshifumi Nagasa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Guy Leblond!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nagasa misses with an attempted mid kick.
Leblond throws a counter combo.

and Leblond counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

Leblond's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Nagasa takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Nagasa tries a head kick but it misses.
The crowd cheers as Nagasa lands an impressive looking overhand right. Leblond doesn't seem phased though.
Nagasa throws a push kick but Leblond slaps the foot to one side.

Leblond drives through and clinches with Nagasa against the ropes.

Leblond's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Nagasa has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

and Leblond counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Nagasa misses with a leg kick
and Leblond counters with a nice body kick.
Nagasa is breathing heavily.
Nagasa looks to throw a body kick

and Leblond counters with a right, a left and a big uppercut that drops Nagasa to the mat! Leblond runs to a neutral corner to get the count going quickly. 3,4,5,6 and Nagasa is back to his feet. He seems ready to continue - the ref agrees so we're back at it!

Nagasa is rocked!

It looks like Hoshifumi Nagasa has been cut.

Leblond gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Oh Nagasa is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Nagasa wants to break free but Leblond has control.

Leblond manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
The crowd are getting on Leblond's back here. They're not happy about his lack of aggression in the clinch.
Nagasa seems to have got his legs back now.
Leblond lands an elbow inside that Nagasa shrugs off.

Nagasa using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Leblond has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Nagasa misses with a punch to the body.
Nagasa wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Leblond escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Leblond has taken the fight to the clinch.
The referee is keeping an eye on Leblond - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Nagasa blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

Leblond breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Nagasa moves to clinch but Leblond breaks away

and as Nagasa resets, Leblond pounces with a savage head kick that drops Nagasa to the mat! Nagasa looks wobbly but gets back to his feet on the count of 5. The referee continues the count to 8 then steps aside to let these two guys get back at it!

Leblond closes the distance and clinches.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Nagasa's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Leblond stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.

Leblond escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Nagasa throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

and Leblond counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Leblond.

Leblond breaks from the clinch.

Leblond looks low and kicks high, catching Nagasa right on the side of the head, sending him crashing to the canvas! Will he be able to beat the count? 3,4,5 - he's already back to his feet and ready to go! Let's see if he's still with it!
