Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Figueira throws a right hand that Daan ducks under and follows up with a left that Daan also avoids with ease.
Figueira throws a series of punches but Daan avoids them all with ease.
Daan throws a hook but Figueira avoids it easily.
Figueira stalks Daan and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Daan's face. Daan staggers backwards, shaken.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Daan lands a jab to the head.
Daan has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Figueira walks straight into a right hand from Daan - that's dropped him! Daan jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Figueira from any more punishment! Figueira complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
