Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rick Blackwell (ranked 4071 p4p, 3111 weight class) and Ryder Young (ranked 528 p4p, 426 weight class). Blackwell comes to the cage accompanied by Slumper Thumper by MACDRE. Ryder Young has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Rick Blackwell!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Ryder Young!
The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Daniel Franklin and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Young scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
It looks like Rick Blackwell has been cut.
Blackwell slips under a jab from Young.
It looked like Blackwell wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Young defending well as Blackwell loads up on a big left hand.
Blackwell definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
The fighters circling - Blackwell throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Young looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Young keeps the fight on the outside.
Young bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Young tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Blackwell was well out of range. Poor timing from Young.
Blackwell misses with a hook. Young ducked under it nicely.
Blackwell throws a combination. Young tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Young circles away from the clinch attempt.
Blackwell throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Young.
Young uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Blackwell.
Young throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Blackwell stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Blackwell's corner calls for a 1-2. Blackwell obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Blackwell uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Young.
Young moves out of range of the strikes.
Young drops Blackwell with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Blackwell looks back up at him and smiles so Young waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Blackwell is rocked!
Young avoids the body shot from Blackwell.
Young swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Oh Blackwell is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Young swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Young keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Blackwell.
Young throws out a counter right but Blackwell avoids it with no problem.
Blackwell rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Young counters with a beautiful right hand that knocks Blackwell out cold! What a finish! Young is going crazy, running around the mat, summersaulting off the corner posts and screaming into the cameras. Something tells me he's pretty happy!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Ryder Young!
