Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Banito Gianni (ranked 2999 p4p, 4088 weight class) and Wolfgang Pauli (ranked 423 p4p, 524 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pauli is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Gianni.
Pauli throws a hook but Gianni avoids it easily.
Gianni definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Pauli takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Gianni lands a lovely overhand right.
Gianni steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Pauli.

It looked like Gianni was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Pauli.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Pauli's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

Both guys are working to get underhooks.

We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Pauli in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.

and Gianni counters with a nice right hand that sends Pauli toppling to the canvas! Pauli scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Gianni finish him?!

It looked like Gianni wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Pauli tries to get into range but Gianni steps to the side and lands a beautiful hook that drops Pauli! He's faceplanted into the mat, ass in the air... he's out cold! That's an image he won't want to show his grandkids when he gets older! Gianni scores the big KO victory!
