Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Davdio Branko (ranked 1604 p4p, 1180 weight class) and Caio Peieira (ranked 94 p4p, 63 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 11 - 0, fighting out of London, Davdio Branko!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Caio Peieira!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Percy O'Donnell and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Branko clinches up with Peieira and pushes him back against the cage.
Peieira lands with a left to the head.
Peieira misses with a knee strike.
Branko blocks the elbow strike.
Peieira decides to pull guard.
Branko forces his way into half guard.
Branko looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Peieira is trying to get back to full guard.
Branko is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Peieira moves into full guard.
Peieira is looking for a triangle but Branko pushes his legs off easily.
Branko will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Branko drops back looking for a leg! Peieira is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Peieira manages to kick Branko off! Branko jumps back into Peieira's guard.
Peieira is looking for a triangle but Branko pushes his legs off easily.

Peieira has his foot on Branko's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Branko works his way back into a safe position though.

Peieira tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Branko wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Branko goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Peieira rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Branko's guard! Nice work there by Peieira!

Peieira is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Branko is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Branko has escaped and now he's on top!

Peieira has closed the distance and engaged Branko in a clinch.

Branko is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Peieira decides to pull guard.
Branko is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Branko sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Peieira's guard.
Peieira moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Branko is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Peieira thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
