Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 16 - 0, fighting out of New York, Naoise Durnin!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Skip Squint and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Durnin throws a right hand that Neuer ducks under and follows up with a left that Neuer also avoids with ease.
Durnin lands a left and a right that send Neuer crashing to the mat, dazed. Durnin thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
It looks like Manuel Neuer has been cut.
Neuer takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
We've been informed that Durnin has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Durnin lands a nice leg kick that just misses Neuer's sensitive parts.
Durnin fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Neuer half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Neuer manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Durnin on his heels. He'll look to pass Durnin's guard now, I'm sure.
Durnin wants to stand up but Neuer is controlling him.

Neuer wants to control from the top but Durnin keeps moving.
Neuer connects with a couple of short punches.
Neuer passes Durnin's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Neuer is looking to stall here but Durnin recovers full guard.

Neuer has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Neuer works a leg free and moves into half guard.

Durnin is in trouble now - Neuer has advanced to mount!
Durnin avoids a strike by Neuer and manages to complete a very nice reversal in the process, to end up in Neuer's guard! Fantastic escape!
Neuer has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Durnin can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Durnin really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Neuer. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Neuer has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Durnin can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Neuer working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Durnin doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Neuer is tightening it up a little... Durnin has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Durnin reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Durnin taps out! Nice BJJ there by Neuer!

Manuel Neuer really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Urban Fighter logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
