PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jumba Smif (ranked 3642 p4p, 3826 weight class) and Juice Uchiha (ranked 387 p4p, 403 weight class). Uchiha has chosen you could tell as his entrance music. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Juice Uchiha!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Yuuki Gou and Shigeki Sano.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Uchiha clinches.
Uchiha pushes off an throws an elbow but Smif leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

Smif manages to break the clinch.

Uchiha pushes Smif up against the cage in a clinch.
Smif is trying to push Uchiha away but Uchiha has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Smif avoids a wild elbow strike from Uchiha.
Smif is trying to break the clinch but Uchiha is controlling him.
Smif blocks an elbow strike.

Smif breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Uchiha throws a body punch but Smif moves out of range.
Smif staying out of range there.
We've been told by Smif's head coaches at in shig we trust that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
A head kick from Smif lands but Uchiha takes it in his stride.
Uchiha is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Uchiha looks to land a body kick but Smif moved away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Uchiha is looking to land body kicks.
Uchiha misses with a kick to the body
letting Smif counter with a right hand.
Smif moves out of range of the body kick.
Uchiha needs to keep his hands up - Smif had a free shot at his head there.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Uchiha takes a kick to the side of the head.

Uchiha is rocked!

Smif paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Uchiha is still on wobbly legs! Can Smif finish him?
Uchiha throws a body punch but Smif moves out of range.
Uchiha doesn't manage to clinch there - Smif circles away.
Uchiha missing with a left hand there. Smif was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Uchiha throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Uchiha seems to have recovered his senses.
Smif rushes Uchiha with punches - Uchiha moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Uchiha goes down! Smif follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jumba Smif!
After winning the bout, Jumba Smif thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
