And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Skipper Eureka!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Eureka lands a nice looking body kick.
Nice defenses there by Thibodeaux.
That kick from Eureka tenderised Thibodeaux's leg. Thibodeaux is trying to keep his angry face on.
Eureka misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Thibodeaux.
Thibodeaux connects with the punch.

It looks like Skipper Eureka has been cut.
Eureka looks to land a right hand but Thibodeaux moved out of range.

and Eureka counters with a nice uppercut.

Eureka throws a sloppy body shot
and Thibodeaux counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Eureka counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Eureka tries to counter with a clinch but Thibodeaux shakes him off and moves away.
Thibodeaux takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Eureka throws a nice inside leg kick.
Thibodeaux scores with a jab. Eureka acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

Eureka wants to counter the offense by Thibodeaux and move into the clinch position.
Thibodeaux stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Eureka.
Eureka lands a right hook to the body.
Eureka misses with a looping left.
It looked like Thibodeaux wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Eureka misses with a wild combination.
As Eureka backs away, Thibodeaux returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.
Thibodeaux blocks a head kick by Eureka.

Thibodeaux lands a head kick that bluckles Eureka and drops him to the canvas. He's still conscious but it looks like it's going to take him the full 10 seconds to get back his senses! He's up on 9 and seems to be just about OK to continue.... the referee agrees and we're back to the action with Thibodeaux no doubt looking to push for a finish!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Eureka throws a left and a right that both miss
and Thibodeaux counters with a stiff right hand.
A clash of legs there as Thibodeaux blocks the low kick.
Thibodeaux was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Imagine Thibodeaux should take that round, based on the knockdown.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Thibodeaux throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Skipper Eureka seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Eureka misses with a leg kick
and Thibodeaux counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Eureka throws a sloppy head kick
and Thibodeaux counters with a stiff jab, followed by a cross and an uppercut! That's too much punishment for Eureka to take - he tumbles to the canvas, blood pouring from his nose, barely conscious. That's the end of the fight! Great knockout by Thibodeaux!
