Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Suzaku Kururugi (ranked 3354 p4p, 6634 weight class) and Bsmds Nasmfus (ranked 466 p4p, 683 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Suzaku Kururugi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bsmds Nasmfus!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, James Ackerman and Paul Tew.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Nasmfus moves into the clinch.
Nasmfus tries to work over Kururugi's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Kururugi lands a hook to the side of the head.
Nasmfus goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Nasmfus's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Kururugi misses with a punch on the inside.
Nasmfus putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Kururugi in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.
Kururugi has a couple of punches blocked by Nasmfus.
Kururugi throws a punch but it's blocked by Nasmfus.
Kururugi doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Nasmfus's coach down at Roosters Coop was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Nasmfus's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Nice body punch from Kururugi.
Kururugi lands a shot to the body.
Kururugi lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Nasmfus backwards.

Kururugi breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Kururugi scores with a shot to the body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Nasmfus moves in looking to clinch but Kururugi pushes him off.
Kururugi quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.
Nasmfus is looking to clinch.
Kururugi lands with a thumping leg kick.
Suzaku Kururugi is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Nasmfus doesn't manage to clinch there - Kururugi circles away.
Kururugi uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

It looks like Bsmds Nasmfus has been cut.
Kururugi takes a swing at Nasmfus's ribcage but misses.
Bsmds Nasmfus seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nasmfus moves to clinch but Kururugi breaks away
and Kururugi connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Nasmfus tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Kururugi counters with a low kick, right behind Nasmfus 's knee.
Nasmfus walks into a straight right hand from Kururugi.

Nasmfus is rocked!
Nasmfus moves to clinch but Kururugi breaks away
and Kururugi counters with a huge left! Nasmfus is in big trouble! He's backing up but Kururugi isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Nasmfus from any more damage. A dominating finish by Kururugi!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Suzaku Kururugi!
A less than humble Suzaku Kururugi misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
