Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Keenwah Graines (ranked 3303 p4p, 5864 weight class) and Raining Blood (ranked 415 p4p, 615 weight class). Raining Blood will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Keenwah Graines!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Raining Blood!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Frank Dennis and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blood throws an overhand right that lands on Graines's shoulder, as Graines tries to avoid the shot.
Blood connects with a good right hand that stumbles Graines. Graines circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Blood takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Graines wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Graines ducks right into an uppercut from Blood.
Blood is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Blood misses with an uppercut. Graines saw that one coming.
Blood fails in his attempt to clinch.
Graines moves out of range as Blood strikes.

and Graines decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Blood's guard.
Blood is looking to stand back up but Graines counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Blood.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Graines seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Graines is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Blood really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Graines. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Graines not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Graines wants to pass the guard but Blood is defending well.
Graines thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Blood can do anything to dispel that myth.

Graines has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Graines unloads with some shots from mount but Blood bucks and avoids them well.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Graines quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Graines but it's paid off an Blood is forced to tap! Nice work by Graines.
