Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Richard Ramirez (ranked 1112 p4p, 2044 weight class) and Sunil Ganga (ranked 150 p4p, 240 weight class). Ramirez comes to the cage accompanied by Get Lucky. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ramirez shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Ganga pinned against the cage. Ganga gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Ramirez throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Ganga tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Ramirez is in Ganga's guard.
Ganga has control of Ramirez's left arm, preventing Ramirez from doing any damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Ganga bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Ramirez's guard.

Ramirez escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Ganga gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
