The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Thompson shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Thompson is nestled in close to Trollslayer, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Thompson is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Thompson will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Thompson seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Trollslayer does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Thompson connects with a nice short shot to Trollslayer's temple.
