The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Murakami misses with a body shot.
Bye appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Murakami is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Bye bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Murakami moves in looking to clinch but Bye pushes him off.
Bye tries to score a power double leg takedown but Murakami sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Bye somewhat.
Murakami connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Murakami lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Bye.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Bye is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Murakami's half guard.
Murakami tries to kick Bye off but Bye keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Bye wants to work for an arm triangle but Murakami is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Bye is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Bye maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Murakami could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Bye has cracked it and Murakami is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Bye!

A very excited looking Bye Bye rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
