The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Watson leaves Yonic with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Watson steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Yonic.
Yonic fails with the takedown.
Watson throws a counter combo.
Watson moves out of range of the body kick from Yonic.
Watson stuffs the takedown.
Watson is clearly looking to counter with head kicks.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chad Yonic. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Oooooh!!! Watson has knocked Yonic down with a huge combo! Watson steps away and waves a wobbly Yonic back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Watson stuns Yonic with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Watson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Yonic circles away quickly and effectively.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Watson lands a big head kick that sends Yonic tumbling to the mat! Watson takes a step backwards and waves Yonic back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Yonic is rocked!
Yonic tries to close the distance and clinch up but Watson swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Oh Yonic is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Watson cracks a nice hook into Yonic's ribs.
Yonic is breathing heavily.
Yonic misses with a takedown
and Watson counters with a left and a right... and another left... and another!! That last one turned off the lights! Yonic has no idea who he is and is as he gazes up at the spotlights. Brutal knockout!
