Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Melondov misses with a right hand
and Fujimoto counters with a straight right hand.
Fujimoto swings for the body but Melondov moves out of range.
Zheko Melondov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fujimoto looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Melondov pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Fujimoto is looking for the big counter here.
Melondov misses with a body shot

and Fujimoto counters with a crisp one two that drops Melondov! Fujimoto thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Melondov to his feet! Melondov is in big trouble!

Melondov is rocked!
Fujimoto throws a quick head kick that knocks Melondov silly! This fight is all over! What a finish! Fujimoto is up on the cage, taking in the applause from the crowd.
