The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guile scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Guile has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Guile misses with a looping right.
Guile keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Beam has managed to clinch.
Nice body punch from Beam - that landed with a thud.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Beam creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Beam dips a shoulder and cracks Guile with a mighty uppercut! Guile falls back against the cage and Beam unloads with a barrage of strikes! Guile is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Beam screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
