The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Gonna Get.
It looked like Rothschild wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Rothschild has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Cloud9 in the buildup to the fight.

Gonna Get fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Rothschild to the ground. Gonna Get is now in Rothschild's guard.
Gonna Get tries to free his leg and advance position but Rothschild is retaining full guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Gonna Get looking to break Rothschild's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Rothschild remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Gonna Get will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!
