Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Bruno Epolito (ranked 4435 p4p, 4764 weight class) and Jamal Thibodeaux (ranked 410 p4p, 425 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jamal Thibodeaux!
The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, David Hoff and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thibodeaux missing with a left hand there. Epolito was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
It looked like Epolito wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Thibodeaux dips to his left and cracks Epolito with an uppercut!
Thibodeaux throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Epolito sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Thibodeaux misses with a body shot.
Epolito is looking to land body kicks.
A countering left hand to the body from Thibodeaux misses.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Epolito tries to land a front kick but Thibodeaux steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Epolito lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Epolito misses with a double jab.
Thibodeaux misses with a body shot.
Epolito fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Thibodeaux.
Epolito connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Thibodeaux's hands.
Epolito uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Thibodeaux.

Thibodeaux lands with a cross.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Epolito avoids the body shot from Thibodeaux.
Thibodeaux misses the jab.
Thibodeaux bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Epolito's head.
Epolito tries to score with a low kick but Thibodeaux moves his leg out of the way.

Nice defenses there by Thibodeaux.

Thibodeaux thuds a left hand into Epolito's body.
Thibodeaux cracks Epolito with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Thibodeaux scores with a jab to the head.
Epolito throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Thibodeaux walks into a left hand.
A punch lands to the side of Epolito 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Epolito takes one to the chin there.
Epolito has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Epolito there as he acknowledges the shot.
A swing and a miss from Epolito.
Thibodeaux is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Epolito had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush.
Thibodeaux lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Epolito backs up against the cage.
Epolito is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Epolito pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Oh Epolito is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Thibodeaux dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Thibodeaux cracks Epolito with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Epolito falls to his knees and Thibodeaux doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jamal Thibodeaux!
