Howlett has chosen Indestructible as his entrance music. Datte Bayo could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to James Howlett's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Howlett keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Bayo.
And Howlett tries to counter it with a takedown but Bayo pushes his down on his head and steps out.
A looping hook to the body misses from Bayo. Howlett does a little dance to reset his feet.
Howlett takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Bayo!

Bayo moves into the clinch successfully.

Bayo breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Howlett shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

Howlett is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Howlett wants to pass the guard but Bayo is defending well.
Howlett wants to take a breather but Bayo is having none of it.

Howlett is thwarting Bayo's attempts to control the position.
Still in half guard, Howlett seems content to control.
Bayo is trying to stand back up but Howlett is controlling him
Bayo tries to roll over but Howlett keeps him under control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Howlett wants to work for an arm triangle but Bayo is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Howlett seems to be working for a kimura but Bayo defends the submission attempt.
Bayo knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Howlett on the ground.

Bayo tries to kick Howlett off in order to stand up. Howlett Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
Bayo is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Howlett has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Bayo is looking to reverse the position.

Bayo wants to get back to his feet but Howlett is dominant here and he's now got Bayo's back!
