Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Matthews (ranked 2241 p4p, 1695 weight class) and Albert Sojka (ranked 291 p4p, 223 weight class). Sojka is fighting off a takedown attempt but Matthews is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Sojka to the mat. Sojka regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Sojka looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Sojka really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Matthews. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Matthews drops back, looking for a kneebar! Sojka looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Sojka looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Sojka!

Matthews has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Sojka should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Matthews has tightened it up now! Sojka should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
