Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Beau Brandon (ranked 4642 p4p, 4640 weight class) and Andre Mith (ranked 562 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mith connects with a body shot.
Brandon scores with a three punch combo!
Mith connects with a looping right hand.
Mith lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Brandon circles away quickly and effectively.
Brandon darts in looking for a takedown but Mith gets double underhooks and turns Brandon into the cage.

Brandon lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Brandon wants to stand up but Mith is controlling the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mith is positioning himself well to prevent Brandon advancing to mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mith is staying active underneath Brandon, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Brandon is really struggling to control Mith but he's trying to hold on to the position.

Mith has guillotine here! It looks pretty tight! Could this be all over! No, Brandon escapes and passes into side control at the same time. Nice work there by Brandon!
Mith tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Brandon wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Mith really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Brandon. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Mith parries the strikes from Brandon easily there. Brandon is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Mith to escape.
Brandon has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Mith!
Mith tries to lock up and control but Brandon gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Mith might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Brandon haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Mith is wriggling around trying to escape.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Brandon looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Mith misses with a right hand
and Brandon counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Mith is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Mith displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Brandon.
Mith looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Brandon throws the left hand but Mith avoids the punch easily.

Brandon shoots for a takedown but Mith saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Mith lands a big uppercut and Brandon crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Brandon looks OK. Mith waves Brandon back to his feet!

Brandon is rocked!
Mith steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Brandon is out on his feet! Mith sets himself and nearly takes Brandon's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!
