Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Khamzat Sonnen (ranked 2510 p4p, 2761 weight class) and Kimmo Peramaki (ranked 315 p4p, 348 weight class). Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sonnen throws the left hand but Peramaki avoids the punch easily.
Sonnen throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Peramaki tries to counter with a clinch but Sonnen shakes him off and moves away.

We've been hearing good reports from Sonnen's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Sonnen has his hands clasped together but Peramaki extends and breaks Sonnen's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Peramaki.
